Legacy For A Cause is a "biggest loser' type weight loss contest in Eastern Pierce County. It was founded by Kieran and Sherri Murry of Kieranslist.com. Legacy For A Cause started in March 2008 with 30 contestants on 3 teams playing to lose weight. Our second contest also fielded 30 contestants but our 3rd contest saw us explode to 80 contestants. Our 4th contest, LFC2 (we operated as Fit For A Cause in our first two contests), starts on May 4th and sees us expanding to 112 contestants in 4 different facilities. We have definitely grown!

But we also added a twist. Our contestants also raise money for different charities during the contest. Our first 3 contests have seen our contestants lose an incredible 2800 lbs and even more amazing is that our teams have raised approx. $127,000 for various charities!

Legacy For A Cause II has all of our teams raising money for ONE fantastic charity...Make-A-Wish Foundation of Alaska, Montana, Northern Idaho & Washington State. Our efforts will go towards making wishes come true for children with life threatening illnesses.
